Wengernalp Railway (belongs to the Jungfrau Railways)
The Wengernalp Railway, the world's longest continuous cogwheel railway,
connects Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg and Grindelwald. At peak
periods, additional trains can be put into operation following at short
intervals behind the scheduled train, allowing capacity to be optimised
according to demand.
Jungfrau Railway
The Jungfrau Railway, the pioneer of all mountain railways, began operating
an all-year-round service from Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch in 1912 .
The mountain terminus is the Jungfraujoch, altitude 3454 metres, where two
underground station halls house Europe's highest altitude railway station.
Aerial Cableway Wengen - Männlichen
The Aerial Cableway connects Wengen with the Männlichen.
Schilthorn Cableway
The Schilthorn Cableway connects Stechelberg and Piz Gloria. You can get from
Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg by bus.
Bernese Oberland Railway
The Bernese Oberland Railway (BOB) connects Interlaken, (Interlaken Ost
railway station) with Lauterbrunnen.
